So, are you wondering what’s happening with student accommodation for 2020/21 at Hazelwood Student village?
The intro - First of all, introducing the new managers Andrew Donnelly - General Manager of the complex and Duncan Cusack - Operations Manager – Andrew & Duncan took over the complex in January 2020 and are both committed to making Hazelwood Student Village a great place to live for their tenants.
Andrew specializes in the digitalization of company’s and has many years’ experience working with student accommodations. Duncan has 25+ years in the hospitality industry managing everything from hostels to 5 Star luxury hotels.
Here are some changes the guys have made have made to date.
Dublin’s cheapest student accommodation - Down with high rent rates
We all know what is like to be a student #Broke so the answer was simple we dropped the prices of our single rooms from €225 to €180, Twin rooms from €155 to €125 per person and our doubles from €250 to €200 per week.
Security Deposit – we trust you will take care of the place so we have dropped our security from €500 to €350.
Booking fees – from €500 to €150 of your finest euros will hold your place and secure Dublin’s low is priced We are working on offering a month by month payment system. But for now, we are just offering a one payment option.
Payment options - We have three payment options; upfront, using our finance providers Flexifi, or Direct debit secured by guarantor
COVID 19 – Currently there is allot of uncertainty around the start date of the coming academic year. To counter this Andrew & Duncan have implemented policies to ensure our tenants pocket stays protected and their booking is secure. The €150 Booking deposit fully refundable minus a €50 administration cost in the event college remains online or in the case you do receive a place in a college in Dublin. See our booking policy here.
